Since its opening in November of 2001, the FCHFH ReStore has made an ongoing effort to reach out to the community in a variety of ways.
The FCHFH ReStore voucher program is designed to lend a hand to clients of non-profit organizations, government agencies, area churches, faith organizations or veterans’ organizations who seek to acquire items necessary for the well being of home and family. Once the organization states the need of their client, the client will be offered a $75 credit to the ReStore. Because the FCHFH ReStore receives many voucher requests, the limit for vouchers is one per family/household per year. If you have questions about the voucher program please contact 970-488-2700.
The Following Are Some of the Partner Organizations in the Voucher Program:
- Care Housing
- Crossroads SafeHoues
- Fort Collins Housing Authority
- Center for Hope
- Neighbor to Neighbor
- Disabled Resource Services
- Touchstone Health Partners
- Catholic Charities
- American Red Cross
- …and many more.
Recycling Vegetable Oil
The FCHFH ReStore is one of two sites in the Fort Collins area that will take your leftover vegetable oil and recycle it for use in biodiesel vehicles. When your holiday meals are finished, please do your part to help our environment and bring your leftover oil to the ReStore!
