Thank you Women Build Team!
After 10 months of concentrated fundraising and four months of construction, Esther and her family have a house to call home. Thanks to the hundreds of Women Build volunteers who spent countless hours raising over $50,000 to begin construction and then came and worked long cold days to create such a beautiful home. The dedication on March 29 was a celebration of the achievement of a wonderful home sponsorship by the Women Build Team.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of the Women Build volunteers, donors, Sensitive Men, Good Eats Team, friends and family of Esther and Habitat board and staff for your efforts that created a simple, decent, affordable home for Esther's family!
Take the Ten Plus Ten Challenge
Each volunteer is being asked to challenge 10 family members, friends, and coworkers to also contribute $10. That’s why we’re calling this the 10 Plus 10 Challenge. There are approximately 300 women in the Women Build data base. With everyone giving $10, plus getting 10 friends to do the same, we can raise $33,000 which will bring us closer to our goal of $50,000 needed to sponsor the Women Build home!
