Jenne and her children have experienced much change since 2005 including moving 4 times. Jenne works hard to provide the necessities for her family but even with the help of agencies such as the Fort Collins Housing Authority, homeownership remained just out of reach. Applying for a Habitat house kept their dream alive. While waiting for news, she and her children prayed to be selected each night during their bedtime prayers. God answered their prayers and they are excited and eager to be partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build a home of their own where they can live for years to come.

It is a challenge for anyone to find affordable housing in Fort Collins and most especially if you are a family of six. Jenne and her children can’t wait to get started building their new home so they can have a place to live in together for years to come. Jenne has great expectations for her family throughout this process. “I hope that building our home together will be a healing and unifying experience for my family, one that we will always remember and cherish. I look forward to building memories, and having a place that my kids will always be able to call home.”
